Yusuf captivates audience at Peace One Day Concert

Yusuf performed yesterday at the Peace One Day Concert at London’s O2 Arena.

The audience was treated to ‘Wild World’, ‘Maybe there’s a world’ with Yusuf including the hit Beatles song, ‘All You need is love’ and then came the peace anthem Peace Train. The captivated audience demanding an encore were treated further to two more classics, ‘Father and Son’ and ‘Moonshadow!’

3. The foundation of Peace rests on the cornerstone of Tolerance. Without this basic value there can be no peace. The Muslim Network for Baha'i Rights is an amazing organization that acts upon its values despite difference of belief. This is courageous. These beautiful souls simply know what is wrong they and are brave enough to speak up against it. Muslims defending Baha'is - amazing and beautiful. May God bless them and may God bless all who work toward Peace with Tolerance.

4. Dear Yousef, Have you thought of coming to Egypt. I think the entire civil society here could use the inspiration of your music right now. I remember when I was young back in the 70's listening to your music back in Southern California. They did inspire me, which is probably why I chose to stay in Egypt 25 years ago. To be in a place where I can personally make a real difference for society. Yeah, I'm still here. I truly wanted to thank your for the video of reason that you did to help free the USA prisoners from Irans prison -- one of the bravest actions that I know of that you have done .. especially with those tough ones over in Iran .. the conservative sect . If everyone heard Gods Voice(sometimes He uses a megaphone :) ) they would know that "The Purpose of Life" is a ministry of sorts - at end of day, re-assess their day " Did they help someone, Did they love, did they listen, did they cry with, show compassion, did they laugh, inspire, move, did they give hope .. did they give give give of themselves4 the Glory of God "as a childlike soul .." If everyone did this on a Global Scale even touching one soul a day the Transfiguration of the World to Peace would happen I even believe God put this in us and we know it .. as we search for Identity-as He gives us Glimpses that the Soul is Immortal we step to the beat with a bigger bounce -Joy. May we all hear the calls that God gives us and not shun away from them and also not shun away from helping our brothers and sisters further than we can even reach .. Amen .

Peace, Joy, and Enthusiasmos to u Yusuf ~ I was so delighted tht I could fly in to be a part of PeaceDay n Movement representng USA .Planning on calling PeaceOneDay.Org 2c what I can do here in the States orabroad~ I have2admit sitting in 1st row was tugging abit on my Peace n the whole center of first rows as well-in front of us Photog's were standing on chairs n blocking view of everything .. a lady 2 seats from me was a journalist and not thrilled . ... Thank God when u came on they vanished to the sides lol -Miracles do happen!! :) *Hoping u enjoyed USA Majicatters Gift that was wrapped in rastafarian peace scarf!! * ~Loved the rendtion u did of "Father and Son" -truly your best yet .. wowza~ and of course Maybe theres A World/AllYouNeed is Love- love the mix at end! and of course, the lalalalalala la la !! 13. Dear Yusuf. I hope and pray that you do a concert in Barcelona, Spain. I do not lose hope again to hear your voice and feel the sensitivity in direct, as I did in year 76. Peace One Day: 'We're trying to give peace a chance' was inspiring...you guys came across so enthusiastic but realistic and reminded us that we don't have to be over- awed by the enormity of the work to be done to achieve World Peace.. ..we can start with 'what's in our hand'..I shared the vid with some cynical youngsters who then saw some hope through your words.....your description of the benefits of a world living in peace captivated the young ones imaginations...just to say thanks for helping me out! and to let you know that your words, carried by your sung or spoken voice reach deep into many hearts, in Spirit, Sabina ..
