1. I grew up with your stunningly loving words and music. My mother listened to 'Cat Stevens' from the time I was about 12, and it was haunting to me since then. I am 50 years old now, and still to into another world when I hear your music. I have two cd's "Road Singer and "An other Cup" and they are the most beautiful, just like all your other exquiste music. I am hoping to make a trip to London in 2013 - saving my money. I missed you by mere days in 2009, but I know that in my lifetime I will hear your sing. For my mother and me. 2. Hope when Yusuf gets back from a very well deserved vacation, we may see some new memorable souvenirs from his very succesful European Tour on the shelves of his home page. As Yusuf is now on the road again, I think an extra shelf is in stall to accomodate these little treasures just like the boomarang from Downunder, the VW peace van, miss the camel, no room for the cute camel anymore, so with an extra shelf it will have a place again. A safe and happy summer to all. Smiles.

4. Dear Yusuf, I want to share a really big joy with you! I`m teaching children playing guitar and painting and I do it also myself..and please read this: today there came one of my lttle boys, his father is a drummer from Burkina Faso, his name is Philipp...and he saw one of my songbooks with your picture on it. And he said: I know this man! There is a cool song: Moonshadow...and he began to sing. Then he asked me, if I had also a disk. Yes, I answered and I played it...there was just "if you want to sing out".."Oh, great!" he said and emediatly he sang the whole song...I played te chords of it a little bit..."How do you play this song?" he wanted to kow everything. And then there came "Father and son"...you should have seen him, this 8 year old boy, moving and shaking and singing this song,... for the part of the son he made the music a little bit louder and he sang and rocked ... there was a really great understanding through the music, and this boy does not speak english ! 11. Dear Yusuf, now that you've finished touring and have nothing much to do (joking), what about writing a book for us? There are so many things I would appreciate hearing your perspective on at this point in your lifes journey. You've got the God given gift of being able to revisit your past and turn hurt into healing, ends into beginnings and weaving threads into tapestries and other such cliched ways of saying you've got things to impart to people in that way still. 16. Assalamualaikum, Dear Yusuf, eventhough I couldn't join the concerts, I always followed the news. I wish I could be there and see you and I want to tell you that your song were my friends when I did my thesis, and I listened to A is for Allah before I entered the presentation room and I passed my thesis. I did Tahajud the night before and while I was reading my thesis I listened to your songs. I felt peaceful and whenever I feel uncomfortable, I put your songs on. 20. I am thrilled to see that you have started touring, giving concerts and peforming music again. I can not adequately express how thrilled I am. One thing, though..PLEASE COME TO THE USA!! Minnesota, preferably. I absolutely love your music, and it means so much to my life, my past, present and future. I listened to it as a child on my mother's records, as a teenager and now as a young adult. It never gets old. Your music has always been apart of it and it would mean so much to me, and many other people, if a concert would be given here. I understand that it might be difficult, but just thought I would put my 2cents in. But, Thank you so much for always making music that speaks to the heart and soul!

As I had no possibility to attend any of the other concerts I was really disappointed when I heard that the concert in Herning was cancelled/moved to Stockholm. So please, come to Denmark very soon. 45. Dear Yusuf I came from Switzerland to see your concert in Brussels. It was really worth the long way! Your concert was pure magic with so many great songs! In the 70's, I was a young boy and couldn't see you live in concert. So thank you for returning on stage. 52. Thank you for this tour I joined one show- and I was getting blown away....and still am. Four decades ago, the lyrics from the CatÂ´s music made me not just going wild but made me learning English.To get the meaning of the lyrics was a MUST. I learned the words from all the songs by heart - and my heart learned so much from the message... Today I am curious about the words Yusuf added in Zulu to *Wild World* . Not that I am in to learn a new language at the age of 57 but I would appreciate it very much, if someone (maybe the kind webmaster) could help with the meaning of those words. It has helped so many people and it certainly continues to help me and calm me down when I feel lonely or sad. 68. Yusuf - music's true legend! I just got back from Brussels. What a great show it was! A great team and a great performance. I wonder whether it can get any better - one more time we shared his world packed with magic, passion and emotions - a great talent and a grateful audience singing along. Security officers didn't let us make video clips though - using a mobile phone for anything more than a quick photo was the ultimate crime. Hugs and kisses to the band. Can't wait to see Moonshadow and thank you for a free sneak preview.
