I look forward to seeing this. With massive regret I missed your local show here in brisbane when something came up - but such is life. I always enjoy even checking this ste and the threads - . I did want to comment to you something that you may well find amazing - it made my weekend. We had 2 consecutive long weekends and helping at a friends place I see they listed the top 100 on the music channnel. Slowly they ground through it with many diverse styles- (Ac?DC ) . MJ etc but at no1 came -.. Tea For The Tillerman . What an absolute joy. They played Father And Son. That should be in your documetary. Personally many times you have blinded us with brilliance Matthew +Son and then more but who would predict this. Congratulations. Peter

I hope the concert in Munich, tonight, starting shortly,(with Europe being an hour ahead of Gt. Britain!) is wonderful, too, Yusuf. I am sure you, Alun, the band, and the audience will have a great timexxPeace, and Love, alwaysxx
Hi all,
never ever thought that this would happen. Having seen you at Oberhausen was absolutely outstanding and an experience I do dot want to miss.
As your music has followed me for nearly 40 years a wish came true. You are still touching souls and I wish you all the best.
If I may give you an advise – carry on, because you’ve got something that is very rare to find. I am pretty sure and you showed it already that you are capable of transponding feelings, thoughts and harmony.
ALL THE BEST
Udo
Yusuf is was nice seeing you again on stage.
Was dissapointed that on this tour you are not singing
"Ruby"
Would love you to sing "Ruby"
Be at your Paris concert.

I hope you enjoyed Berlin very much, Yusuf. The crowd looked and sounded great, on one of the utube videos. So glad you got such a wonderful welcome. I am looking forward to seeing you, and wondering which songs you will choose!xxPEACE, and LOVExx
I was at the concert on 12.05.11. When i was 16 me and my friend was sitting in her room, drinking tea and listened to the music an read in the songbooks of Cat St. and tried to translate his songs. And now 33 years later my wish became true i be allowed to see him life and listening. Now, i hope to meet him in a better world. Thank you for your spread of Freedom. Peace and Selam
Peace be with you Yusuf,
I'm hoping that you are relaxing before Munich.....
Berlin...like Yusuf, a fusion of east and west,a blend of old and new...like the audience at the concert, buzzing with many peoples from all over the world ,differing ages, differing cultures and faiths ...the spirit of people I bounced into there are embodied in these quotes from the East Side Gallery of the old wall; I found, 'We are the future lets not fuck it up'...and..'thoughts are like traces of birds in heaven.'-So like the concert set, edgy, cool and also my favourites soft and peaceful confident in God the guide!(wont complain that there was not enough of those!much lol)Not really into nostalg, had my own Bad Brakes moment tho, and after the first half was wrung out...(not easy to sit thro the unadorned simple beauty of the Musical story and those excellent old songs if you were ever the Lisa.....Hmmm)
However the guy in front of me did the Ole ,patted my head...his turn came later when suddenly I found myself comforting a perfect stranger who cried into my shirt...
I knew this was going to be more than a concert for me..the experience of touching some souls at the concert and the journey to it and
Hello Yusuf,
Thank you so much for the wonderful concert in Berlin. I went there especially for hearing you even if I don't live in Berlin. At the end of the sixties I couldn't afford a ticket for a concert with you but now I could and it was worth waiting so many years. I'm sure you enjoy your playing and singing as well as giving concerts today like before. I wish you all the best and take care.
Asalamo'alaikum Yusuf. I met you many years ago and I prayed then that you would go back to music. How wonderful that you have and my next wish when it comes to your music is to see you in concert. We moved to Bahrain a year ago and I have been volunteering with Bahrain mobility international, a charity for the 6000 disabled in Bahrain. This year due to the recent events, they have been unable to raise any funds which means that they will be unable to continue with their projects for the disabled. Please do a fundraising concert in Bahrain for them. It would truly be a historic event that would benefit the the disabled in Bahrain at a time they need it the most. We hope to see you here soon. Peace and light, Marcia Petyt
Honorable Yusuf Islam
I went to as a loyal fan to your concert in Berlin on May 14.
I never touched any concert emotionally Sun It is not only your music but also your life. I respect that.
It is nice that you have returned to the stage again,
Excuse me, but I would hesitate even shaken hands. Even though I understand very little english and translate these lines from Google.
Yours faithfully
Peter
I was at the concert in Oberhausen on 12.05.11. So great! When i was 16 years old me and my friend were sitting in her room drinking tea and listening your songs and tried to translate the songs with a book of your lyrics in german. And now 32 years later a wish came true. Maybe i see Mr. Yusuf on the other right side, because i became a muslim since 1999 and i am so happy that he is my brother in religion. Thank you for your music. Peace-Selam
Salam Yusuf
It was a great concert yesterday. My wife bought the tickets directly when she saw the Poster. It was a very beautiful present. Thanks to my wife and thanks to you for coming to Berlin and given a wonderful concert.
Take care and see you maybe at the Musical !? (may be in Berlin too?!)
Salam/ Peace
It was so great to see you! I hope you`ll come againe to Berlin in future. I love your music so! But my mother was sad that you didn`t sang "Another Saturday Night". But it was a great evening! May God let you live for many many years.
Salamu alaikum wa rahmatullah
Salam/Peace,
it was a great concert of our friend Yusuf last evening, I hope I will see you again, Yusuf. Your voice and guitar skills are amazing and inspiring so much.
It was just so great! I´ve waited 35 years to see you live, and now it happened. At the end they let us through in front of the stage and I was only 5 meters from it!! Well, yes, I cried...
Thanks for such a wonderful experience!! And please come back soon. I start saving for a seat in front...
Hello
Cat Stevens met through a friend before going on to university.
Within months she could play many songs on my guitar.
I always play the songs of Cat Stevens when I'm on the field with a fireplace and a full moon next to good friends.
Happiness is visible on the faces of people when music and poetry will give space for a meditative character.
When I showed my girlfriend Lisa sad she has loved all the music and story of Yusuf.
Whenever I see that Yusuf is on tour and while I'm happy, my sadness is greater ...
The reason is very simple.
Yusuf has lived in Brazil and Brazil loves Yusuf, but he has not done a show here!
Here there are many fans of Yusuf, I suppose a lot of friends too.
I would love to see Yusuf in Brazil in a concert.
Maybe God does not answer my prayers and pass a message to Yusuf in a dream and he decides to do a show in Brazil and brings a little more joy and happiness for me, my friends and many fans of Brazil.
Big hug and good luck!
Wauw, did you turn the time back Yusuf.
You look fantastic.
You said once in an interview that you were getting younger instead of older. It felt that way and look at you now.
Fawzia must really take good care of you.
Have a great night. I wish I could be there.

I visited Berlin when I was 21 (from the other side of the world), I was lucky enough to be there when the Love Parade was happening that year, and saw the city from the top of a truck decorated to look like a viking ship, we floated through the streets, with huge speakers playing music for the million strong crowd. Magical music happenings.....Have a wonderful time.
