I do appreciate that plaid is a folksy fabric of the people,
but it clashes with the music and the aura. Your best colors are blacks and whites. If you must be yang, shades of prussian blue or lavender. Burnt umber is OK. Anything else distracts. Especially orange (and I know you know what I'm talkin' about, Mr. Incorrigible Coat Lining). IMnotsoveryhumbletodayO. One learns these things from teaching at places like Waldorf schools

The "My People" poster rang a familiar bell. Check out the cover art by Theoniek Verdurmen on the CD of "The Lovers" & "The Prayers of Kierkegaard" by Samuel Barber (Koch, 1991). It's not "Adagio for Strings," but how could I possibly pass on a musical combination of Neruda and scandinavian spirituality? ;D I loved the cover art so well, that I stole the idea for some textile art now hanging on my bedroom wall. I have followed your path for a very long time, hoping that one day I would be lucky enough to see you perform once again, that time came on Friday June 18th in Melbourne, I was a Child for a day, once more.I lived in Manchester for a while, way back, where I had a very good pen friend in Keith Balaam, I only wish that he could have seen that day aswell.

Its the best one I heard .Qur`an says repel evil with good,and thats what you have done .When someone( a paid clown) insulted the prophet, you educated the world as to how good the prophet was,and you did ,as you do everything else so beautifully.May God bless you and protect you and your family(blood related,music related,education related and charities related,and faith related members) from evil and jealous and libelous eyes.
You are the voice of reason for both muslims and non muslims .Muslims need to remember that attacks on the character of prophet have been made in the past and they will continue in the future by those who are threatened by his message of equality for all humanity.

Part of my deep appreciation for you, is seeing how all the threads of a persons life can come together so meaningfully over a lifetime, Yusuf. When I'm tempted to brood on wasted passages of my life, I now think of your light and philosophical reminiscences on the moments in your life that seemed so dark at the time. Yusuf, I have missed you. I was around nine years old when you stopped singing and concerts. Despite that I always listend to and loved your music, yes as Cat Stevens.
When I heard you were coming to Australia it was a dream I had prayed for to come true. I saw you in Sydney your music touched my heart. Different people, different faiths, singing together the same songs.
