13. So very disappointed. Tried to get tickets for myself and family but no luck. Tickets to this event are on e-bay not 24 hrs. after official release?? Unfortunately we cant afford the huge pricetag! My mother has been a huge fan for years, attended first concert 36 years ,ago and due to her ill health recently my brother and I were very excited about revisiting this beautiful music with her (as we did as children). I sincerely hope that everyone who was lucky enough to get tickets has a wonderful night.

14. I have just read some of the fans disappoint because they could not get tickets for the concerts. I feel really sorry for the genuin fans of Yusuf who were not able to buy ticketsto see him. I first heard about ticket sales on the internet where they have been selling for the past two weeks so its no surprise that come May the 6th they have all sold out. I know I would have been very upset if I could not have got a tickets for the UK tour.

They've been married for 35 years. We were going to surprise mum for mothers day this Sunday with tickets for them and us 4 kids. When i found out that Yusuf was coming to Australia I cried with pure joy...I have been waiting my entire life to embrace his energy in person...but unfortunately I had to work this morning, I rushed home at lunch but after only a few hours all tickets in Brisbane are already sold out! Please please please will you do more shows? 28. Yusuf, when I found out you were coming to Australia I was overwhelmed because I never thought I would get a chance to see you perform. You've always been my favourite artist of all time. 30. Hello, Kevin Ogles, I couldn't read your post and NOT be curious - why did you interview Yusuf in the BROOM CUPBOARD of his dad's restaurant? And can you remember and share any more interesting details from your interview?...It seems that Yusuf should remember you, unless of course, it was his normal practice to conduct interviews in a broom closet - one never knows...I remember that in "Heaven Can Wait," the football player Joe Pendleton (played by Warren Beatty) takes over the body of a millionaire and sometimes talks with his guardian angel in a closet...So it's not unheard of...It sounds like you have an interesting story, and I'm hoping you'll share it here if you can....Peace and smiles

31. This is to the webmaster: A group of us discussed this tour and the fact that no e-mail announcement was sent out. Generally, whether there is a presale or not, the tour is announced to the members of the site. This is to insure they are aware of the performances, even if they are unable to go. In the future, if Mr. Islam does elect to tour again in other areas, is it possible, an e-mail can be sent to the members of the Redroom. Although Australia was not for me (I am in the US) - others could potentially go. Most of us found out about this through posts on "social sites" - and we would much rather here it directly from you. We don't expect pre-sales - just notification. I know, as do my friends, this was simply an over sight and not intentional. 34. Yusuf, Why is the tour not coming to Wellington, it is the Cultural heart of New Zealand, any contains many Cat Stevens and Yusuf fans from way back when. Some of us cannot get to Auckland or Christchurch, can you please consider including our city on your schedule of New Zealand.

38. I missed out seeing Cat Stevens 36 years ago at the age of 16, when I was hospitalised with phnemonia for 4 weeks. 41. Seems like a lifetime ago, but I missed out on seeing the Magicat show in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I was only 15 then, LOVED the man and his music and wanted to go SO VERY BADLY. My sister attended, but I was deemed 'too young' to go by parents. I promised myself " I'll see him next chance I get". Little did I know THAT would be 35 years later, and half a world away!! Yesterday I secured tickets to the Sydney concert for my wife, my 8 year old daughter , and myself. We are ALL SO VERY EXCITED!! THIS is a REAL family EVENT for us!!!! We have even booked a hotel room in the city to make this evening a once in a lifetime for us all!! SO much of what I feel about Yusuf, and his music, has been expressed here. It has had a profound, positive and lasting effect upon my life and my thinking. It has even prompted me to pick up the guitar and play and SING after 45 years of not playing at all. I LOVE your music. Those songs have followed me through my life, and now, each has a certain place and time associated with it. Your new albums are also beautiful and so meaningful. For all of you out there trying to sort out pre-sales tickets in Aus today, if you are already a member of myticketmaster (which you can do online) and haven't received the pre-sale password, you have to ring ticketmaster to get it. Their local number is 136100 and you choose option 8. Tickets go on sale for Sydney at 2pm today (even though the ad on their main page says midday). Hope that helps! Sam

49. I was there: 1974 Bamboozle tour Melbourne's Festival Hall, with Linda Lewis (nightingale), WHAT A NIGHT. It was "THE 70's". 1976 Majikat concert Alexandreon Athleticon in Thessalonica, Greece - disaster for Cat as was same night as some international soccer match and attendance was poor, but for those of us there it was "majik" 2007 Bought "Another Cup" and was mesmerised again 2008 Bought "Yusuf's Cafe" and I knew he was back... 2008 Went to London and visited all those places on the DVD including Soho Square, and looked up at his RED room where he wrote all those songs so many years ago. 2010 June 26 Brisbane Entertainment Centre - I have our tickets, front row of S41 - we're there. 52. Here's my situation. I'm 21 and I live in Toronto. Yusuf's music and journey have inspired me more then anything else in my life to this point. Seeing him in concert is something I need to do. I'm considering spending all of my saving to take a trip out to Australia to see him. The only thing I wanted to know is whether or not he'd be playing a show in North America at any point this year? I assume if you knew it'd be announced but if he'd be playing North America I'd rather see him and not spend every penny I have to my name. Either way, I'm sure he'd be worth it. I'd just be frustrating if I spent $3,000 to see him and then a few weeks later he announced a show in Toronto that would have only cost me $200. Either way, thank you for your music. It has truly changed my life.
