Further Tickets Announced for Australia!

There has been huge demand from the Australian public for tickets to see Yusuf in Concert – and we’re delighted to offer Redroom members exclusive access to newly released tickets to the shows in Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne.

Log in to the Redroom now and visit the Blog to find details of how you can purchase tickets. These are the best seats we could secure at the last minute for our loyal fans; despite the shows being booked out and the number of tickets being sold through auction sites – which regrettably remain outside our control.

1. Yusuf, I am so excited to hear that I may be able to buy tickets to your Brisbane show. I'm afraid to say that my parents don't have a lot of money right now so they couldn't afford to go to your Brisbane concert. So I thought I would buy them some tickets for their wedding anniversary and I went on to Ticketek & Ticketmaster to see if there were any tickets available & there isn't any!! I will be checking this site daily to grab some for my parents since you have announced FURTHER TICKETS. Tahlia

2. We've been keeping our ears to the ground in hope of another concert for Brisbane, but haven't heard anything yet. Do you know if there will be any additional concerts for Brisbane? We really hope so, our fingers are crossed.

3. Oh! PLEASE!!!!! I'll beg for another concert in Brisbane. It will mean the world to my husband who was introduced to your beautiful and meaningful music by his father who passed away 20 years ago. 8. This may not be the best place to ask this question, but I am trying to find out what Noxshi will be playing in support at the Australian concerts. I don't have a myspace or facebook account, so I can't ask Noxshi directly. Does anyone here have any info? I am taking my mum to see Yusuf, she's disabled and it is a very big deal for her to be going to the concert. I think hearing Yusuf's music live will be a balm for her soul. However, although I am very interested to hear Noxshi, I am worried that my mum wont cope with such progressive challenging music, and that it may in fact frighten her as it is so different from Yusuf's music. 11. Dearest Yusuf..... Soooo delighted that you are finally returning down under after 36 year's. Its been a long wait for us young fans that missed out. My four year old son and i get in to our little arguments and when he really want's to upset me, he will say... i hate Tat Tevens mummy lol! Its just the cutest thing ever. It's an absolute honour to have the opportunity to see you in Sydney. I have my diamond tickets and i would'nt miss it for the world!

12. I am so on the verge of traveling overseas to see Yusuf. Cat Stevens has been my musical inspiration since 1973 and no other artist(s) since has compared to the in-depth feelings I still have musically for him. I sure do hope one day he will come back to tour in the U.S. I want to sit in the front row to see my childhood and now lifetime poetic hero. I must see him live, sometime, somehow. 13. I was [and am still] a devoted fan of usuf Islam-Cat Stevens, beginning in the early 70's and continuing through today. I have some questions though which I would love to have answers to. I know understand that he became a muslim because of his belief in Peace, as is shown in so many of his lyrics and songs. I thought, however, that he quit singing, due to a prohibition of instrumental music in the muslim religion. Is that still true? Does he go ahead and do this , as before, with some justification? I loved his statement about why soldiers of all armies could not work just for peace, universally. How does he feel about the terrorism in the Islamic world, and elsewhere. Does he support AlQueada? If not , how does he oppose it? No doubt that he would support the withdrawal of the US from the Islamic area of the world. Does he think that would stop the terrorism by Islamics? How does he feel about the US? Would he perform a concert here? Basically, it seems that after his conversion to Islam, he dropped out of sight for many years, and I wonder why he has reappeared again. Poorly worded, I admit. Anyway, where can I find a synopsis of this informationa dn reasons for it? Thanks, Gre

17. I sincerely hope there will be a second Brisbane concert! Rather than opening more seats to the first I mean. I can't imagine any seats that become available could possibly be very good. Im sure there would be no problem selling out another show. I know there are people who missed out, as well as people who would absolutely love to take advantage of the opportunity to see Yusuf twice! :)

19. I introduced Cat Stevens to my now Husband 15 years ago! Cat was a hidden-love of mine, which my husband was surprised about; he now shares the same love as me. We both (now in our mid 30s) listen to Yusuf every night & Yusuf brings us together more than we could have ever imagined. We tried for Perth tickets and were unfortunate in getting any. PLEASE try for another Perth Show; We can't afford to fly interstate (which we have considered). This would be our once in a lifetime to experience Yusuf LIVE ... very upset that we won't be part of this. Another show in Perth would be make our journey of Yusuf complete; P L E A S E

23. Salaam I am sister Fatima from Perth, Australia. I was inspired by the then "Cat Stevens" when I was only 4 years old (now 33) and was exposed to it by my older siblings while growing up in the Apartheid South Africa, when songs like "Peace Train" were sung with true meaning during that time and still is. I am still inspired by the now Yusuf Islam and am overjoyed that he will be coming to Perth. However, my sister and I were too late in obtaining tickets during the initial sale and have now noticed that only additional tickets are being made available for Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can you make additional tickets available for Perth, Australia? We so desperatley need to see the man whose songs we sing and have been singing for years - Yusuf. 25. I have loved Yusuf music for over 38 years, I have seen all his sydney shows since 1970, I cant wait to see him again. Thank you Yusuf for giving your fans so much love through your music. WONDERFUL NEWS 'bout the extra concerts around Australia but where are the extra PERTH tickets, we sold out after 4 minutes, that was a follow on to the four days I tried for the Visa-pre-sale tickets, and I still missed out. 29. I was glad to hear that more tickets have now been released due to high demands. What does that mean? more seats were put into the venue? Why were they not released all together instead of fans thinking they all were sold out. Some fans probally bought tickets off e-bay. Like I would have done. Yusuf the only solution is that you do lots of concerts more frequently round the World every year so everyone can get tickets to see you

30. This is the first time that I've seen something go "wrong" that was righted so quickly. I commend the organization and Mr. Islam - for attempting to get the tickets to the fans this week - and also for the New Zealand effort. I know Brisbane to follow. I think several things occurred - one Mr Islam - doesn't understand how much we've missed him and two - simply lack of experience in today's world with ticketing. You are very generous to offer presales on a site that doesn't charge. I'm hoping there is merchandise left I can stock up on - and maybe sometime in the future - the paths will cross again and myself and others will have that opportunity. I am grateful for having gone to Dublin - now rest of the world get ready - the gentleman is back! Thank you all...
