Surprise News!

[Updated] Yusuf wishes you all a happy and peaceful day, and will inform you of some extra special news expected today – God willing!

We are now delighted to announce that Yusuf’s daughter, Hasana, gave birth to a bouncing baby boy earlier this morning. He has been named Muhammad Sulaiman.

Yusuf’s third grandchild and first grandson!

8. As a parent you find, a child is your strength as equally as it is your weakness. Don't new babies smell wonderful? God bless to you all, especially you Muhammad on your new family! I was reading that Maymana was born at home, and I was wondering whether this was a planned homebirth, and whether Yusuf and Fauzia had any other of their babies at home? I would be interested to hear Yusuf's thoughts about his experience of homebirth. I had my little boy Jem at home, with my then five year old daughter, husband and sister, in attendance, and what a magical experience it was to share giving birth with my loved ones in this intimate safe space. I started listening to your nasheeds since I was about 7 years old and I think you have a unique voice, which has inspired and taught me a lot about Islam.
