Yusuf's... Take My Time Tour

After quite an extraordinary break of 33 years, Yusuf is planning to stroll back on to the stage. A 4-City Tour will commence in Dublin and continue to Birmingham, Liverpool and end in London.

It’s been a long wait, and fans are about to see why. As one would expect from such an innovative and unpredictable artist, it’s not a tour in the usual sense. With his return to the acoustic guitar, Yusuf is expected to offer audiences a taste of his timeless hits as well as music from his highly acclaimed new albums, An Other Cup and Roadsinger. Incorporating an exciting mix of concert and musical storytelling, the unique performance will also provide a special surprise connected to the musical, Moonshadow.

An official announcement of the Tour will be made soon. And as per Yusuf’s wish, members of the Redroom will be granted first choice of a number of prime seats.

7. JOEPIE (dutch for HURRAH), finally I have a ticket for London. In 2003, the Night of Remembrance I've met a wonderful woman, Meg Stevens. We became close friends and she's the one who helped me to get a ticket. We'll meet again after 6 years, it's so exiting. Also, for you and all other readers here, I'd like to share with you the following series of events taking place in Princeton and New Brunswick NJ this coming October (next month): 1) The Princeton Public Library and the Princeton Regional School Dsitrict has arranged programming for a month long series of events for the annual “Princeton Reads” one book event in October 2009. Princeton Reads “Three Cups of Tea” written by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin, is about Mortenson’s attempted ascent to K2, Pakistan’s highest peak, and his resulting efforts to bring education to the mountainous regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan. The month long group read will begin with a kick off event on 10/7 at the Library, and will continue for the remainder of the month inclusive of book discussions, guest speakers, panel discussions, art exhibits, film screenings and a peace concert in downtown Princeton. You are such a gentle role model for all men (including my son) and sang beautifully on the night. The room was full of love and peace. 34. Hoping to see you on stage in Liverpool. Just hope there are no wild horses around to stop me. They would have to be very strong. My daughter, and I are trying to work out where it will be,...the cosy Philharmonic, or the Echo Arena, or somewhere we haven't heard of. She went to Uni. there, so it's like a home from to her, and is hoping you will sing "Wild World", at some point. I've grown very fond of "Maybe there's a World", these days. 50. The announcement of a tour after so many years has just taken my breath away! I can't wait and pray I will be able to get a ticket to see Yusuf again. I was at Shepherd's Bush for the Island Life concert and it took me back to my youth! So many emotions,so much beautiful music.
