5. Just when the sun appears like it will not shine, when the world seems covered in darkness, The Light always seems to shine through enveloping God's creatures. Hope must be there if we are to rise above the state of this world. Just bought the Peace One Day Concert CD from itunes. Thank you Yusuf for magically singing Stevie Wonder's Saturn. 8. Happy Birthday! I have been a fan of yours since I was a very young boy. I have all of your records as 'Cat Stevens'. However, this summer, I went to Turkey for a month and was finally able to purchase some of the excellent music you have made as Yusuf. I bought three of your Cd's in Istanbul and Ankara and love them! As both Cat and Yusuf, you have made so much beautiful music in your life - thank you. Cat Stevens/Yusuf Islam by Caroline Jennett I was just nine, Gary seven, last time Cat Stevens performed in public so when Island Records announced its 50th Birthday celebrations, we snapped up our tickets in no time. Doors opened at 7.30, we arrived at about 6.00. After an hour standing way back in the queue I noticed a bald head pop out of a door to the theatre, nod then stick his tongue out at me. I turned round to look and that’s when I first saw Cat. Hugging the wall as they moved up the alley, he and his party kept their heads down. The queue gazed after them as they passed, too late to note their significance. “Oh my God,” I whispered to Gary. “It’s him! He’s here!” As he approached I stepped forward. Really I wanted to kiss him, thank him, but instead I wished him a good evening. He smiled and I felt like I’d been blessed. 10. Sorry for my language but I'm italian and my english is not simple for me. I love Cat Stevens from 70 and I saw Cat in Rome in april 74. Cat is one of my prefer musicians of anytime and I love Cat soul.
  
  My prefer record are Foreigner (fantastic piano and voice and melody, one of the underestimate records but fool of grace and so evocative), Catch bull at four & Tea for The Tillerman and my prefer songs are Foreigner suite (of course), Sitting, Oh very young, Father & son, Miles from nowhere, The wind, Don't be shy, Wild world, !8th avenue, King of trees, Silent sunlight, Algelsea, Last love song and many others. Roadsinger is a record that capture me little by little but now I love Thinking about you, The rain, Be what you must, Roadsinger, All kinds of roser and Dream on... 12. I have always loved your music, and my daughter, who is 19, has been listening to it since she was 10 - and still loves it even more from watching on Youtube. I'm also really impressed with the new music - your voice has barely changed at all, I'm glad to be hearing more from you again. I'm also pleased to be learning more about Muslim culture and religion; as we are getting to know more and more Muslims in Canada. Good luck to you, keep up the wonderful music.

I was wondering if you might consider setting it up so your fans can comment after your posts within the in the blog section, rather than having to come here to the news section of your website. That way, I think it would be easier for you to read your fans' responses, and it would be easier and more fun for us as well. 15. As Regine, I was also smelling the roses while I read, morever "the wind" was playing in my mind I dont know why. Then I remember a word from Mevalana who was one of the best Turkish philosophers says, Human is only thought, the rest are bone and skin. Therefore if you think roses, you become a rose garden. 19. Does that mean it's going to be written in the sky? As long as one of the shows is in the North West of England, it's OK, you understand?? Summer seems to have come back in more ways than one. Take very good care of yourself. You can have extra cups of tea after September 20th; is that right. Have just looked on the internet, and there is lots of advice on how to follow a healthy date during Ramadan! I expect you're used to it by now. I love your new Blog. 21. I just read the 4 small performances in the UK - and looks like it will be happening too fast for us to fly over there. I always believe that when things are meant to be - they come back around again. So I will be looking to the next events in the UK - and so happy to see Yusuf will be performing shortly. 24. Hi Yusuf, Having had an "out of body experience", around 35 years ago when I was very ill, "God", appeared to me as a shining light. I floated above my body with the light and had to discuss(telepathically, it seemed) whether I was to live, or die. The girl lying on the bed was discussed as in 3rd person,ie."She".(although, I knew, "she"was "me". I had to argue/state her case for living...it went something like this,...she is so young, her parents will miss her, etc.) The girl lying on the bed, i knew from this was my "vessel" for staying here, and that if I did not succeed in returning to my body, I would die. Obvious, I suppose. I had never heard of this happening to anyone else. It was 1973, and about 13 years before I eventually heard about "out of body" experiences, on TV. It was a great comfort to know that others had returned the same way. I only told those I knew I could trust, at the time it happened, because I thought no one would understand. A few people suggested nightmares, etc. But for those of us who have had these experiences, I think most of us realise thatit was our souls up there having the cha
