  Yusuf To Attend Klaus Voormann Album Launch

  Yusuf will be attending the launch tomorrow (June 15th) of Klaus Voormann’s new album, ‘A Sideman’s Journey’, in Munich, Germany.

  He will be joined at the event by his guitarist Alun Davies, and will also be performing several songs with Klaus, including ‘All Things Must Pass’, a cover version of one of the George Harrison tracks which Yusuf recorded for the album.

  Part of the proceeds from the album will be donated to Klaus and Christina Voormann’s Environment & Health Charity Project on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation of the Oglala Sioux, South Dakota.

  Klaus Voormann is most widely known for his collaborations with The Beatles and was the designer of the famous artwork on their album, ‘Revolver’.

  3. How wonderful to be attending, Yusuf!! Being of Native American ancestry - this has a special place in my heart. The Pine Ridge reservation is one of the most impoverished reservations in the States. Thanks to all who are participating in this event... peace and light!!
