Yusuf Records Moonshadow Album At The Old Vic

Yusuf has been at the historic Old Vic Theatre in London for a special recording session.

He was joined by the full cast and production team of Moonshadow to record the album that will accompany the musical.

The BBC’s One Show were on hand to do some filming of the day, we will bring you the full details of when that will be broadcast shortly.

3. The concert at Birmingham was fantastic, I sat there with a big smile all evening. Would be great if there was a DVD of concert tour, a memory to cherish and revisit. Peter

5. Yusuf, your music is the one influence I have kept from my childhood. Throughout my teen years, I didn't know where you had gone, Izitso and Back to Earth came out, and you just sort of disappeared from the radar. I didn't find any news releases about you and where you had gone for the longest time. It makes me so happy to be able to not only hear re-released older songs, but brand new ones as well. 8. Having been unsuccessful in getting tickets in oxford 35years ago(!) I suspended belief when I got tickets for Birmingham last week. It was great to see and hear Yusuf with Alun Davies still there for support and sparks, and the bands mix of Africa Wales and London(even the sound check sounded good!). It was lovely to hear the old and new songs; like going back to visit your old room with its dearest memories.A fab evening well worth the wait,some good things are for keeps and never leave you.
