Yusuf Records Jackson Tribute Song

Following the sad death of Michael Jackson, Yusuf has entered the studio to record a song in tribute to the legendary singer.

The track was recorded with the help of the band Noxshi and will also feature Alun Davies plus his daughter Becky Moncurr.

The finished song will be released as a special Mp3 download with all proceeds going to a children’s charity.

2. Michael so deserves this heartfelt honor. Both of you cherished the children of the world, and you both had known what it's like to have been misunderstood. I have not known of you for long Yusuf, but I am glad I discovered you. You and Michael are both very special people. I will miss him greatly, but am glad that I have Yusuf's music to comfort me. Can't wait to hear the song.

4. I am so happy that you chose to do this - when others have turned their back. It shows me - that you are same kind, caring person you have always been. Michael would be happy with this - and the fact - you are giving the proceeds of the recording to a children's charity. Only you, Yusuf, would always care - no matter what anyone else says or thinks. Michael's life was going to end in tragedy - at least you have shown the kindness to express that he was a very good man - and a kind person. I will be listening tomorrow. Margaret Griffith

5. Glad to have found you again and to read about your journey. Your choices are inspirational to others and they have not been easy choices. Michael is a soul gone too soon and his journey and choices misunderstood. His music and lyrics have been a touchstone for me in my younger years to the present day - as yours were til you stopped mainstream involvement. I was pleased to reconnect and have purchased your last two CD's. I find them beautiful and peaceful. My all time favorite of yours is "Moon Shadow." I'm thankful to hear that someone like you cares enough to pay tribute to Michael and anxiously wait to hear the lyrics! Thank you!

8. Great idea, as a tribute to MJJ, and raise money for a children's charity. Michael would have been really thrilled that Yusuf (C.ST) and friends decided to do this.
