Yusuf On TV - Thursday & Friday

Great news – Yusuf has lined-up two very special TV appearances in the UK and Ireland this week.

First up, UK fans can tune into BBC1’s The One Show at 7pm on Thursday 10th December to catch a live interview with Yusuf on the early evening show.

Then, the very next day (Friday 11th December), Irish fans will be treated to a live performance and interview when Yusuf stops by the Late Late Show at 9.30pm on RTÉ One.

2. Mr. Webmaster - I don't know where to post this - so perhaps you can see it - and get it to the right personnel. I want to thank and give high respect to the company that is running the Bazaar. I ordered a "ton" of merchandise and they had to wait until the tour was over - it was for Christmas here - and these folks couriered it over here. I've never seen this type of customer service before. Additionally - your work with the ticketing, e-mail problems, Spot-On with the e-mail situation - . Mr. Islam has fine people working for him and he needs to know this. You can place this where it should be - or forward it - I had no place to write it. But wanted those involved to know - the caring and customer service with everything on this site is in a place by itself. Best regards, Marge

3. Sadly, I still haven't managed to see this, but will try the website again! By the way in case you don't already know, Yusuf, somebody on UTUBE says that they use some of your music (from "The Joke") for the end credits on the TV programme "HOUSE"...did you know?? Lots of Lovexxxx When's the next tour (ha)??

4. Je suis française et j'ai fait le déplacement pour aller voir Yusuf au Royal Albert Hall le 8 décembre dernier. J'ai été ravie de découvrir le spectacle "Moonshadow". Et la seconde partie était une merveille. Quelle belle énergie dégageait Yusuf et le groupe. Quelle belle ame aussi que Possède Yusuf. J'attends impatiemment de connaître les dates du spectacle "Moonshadow. Je ferai le déplacement à nouveau. J'aime Yusuf, sa musique, son âme et sa sagesse. Carole S.13/12/09

6. hi Yusuf just a quick message to say loved hearing what you had to say on the Late Late Show and Morning Has Broken never fails to get to me! Please return to Ireland as soon as you can and hopefully Moonshadow will show here but can't wait to go to London to see it! Take care! 7. Hi Yusuf Great to hear you sing on the Late Late Show. Great to hear a famous person openly admit their belief in God in this increasingly atheistic world, that song "Morning has broken" sounds so praising of God. I was an atheist but an unwilling one! Like you i wanted to believe there is more to life than this and i asked God "If you exist help me to believe?" I hope many will return to God through your example. God bless you

Hi Yusuf, RAH was a great night for me, but much more so for my wife Louise..she was the lady who placed the Red Rose at your feet whilst you were introducing Moon Shadow, she was a jibbering wreck and couldn't even bring herself to look up at you, but Louise will remember your shoes forever. She cried throughout the whole concert and was the most peaceful and serene that she has been for many years and yes, she had waited all of her life to see you and never thought she would be that lucky. The whole experience has brought us much closer together, something that we have been sadly missing in the past few years and we have again realised how much we love each other and that is down to you Yusuf. You were still Cat to me until the RAH, I always liked your music, but have to say I didn't expect you to be as good as you were and the music production along with the Moon Shadow cast was wonderful. 10. Like Dana, I too was disappointed with 'The One Show' The two turnips that interviewed you; Yusuf, obviously didn't realise that they were in the presence of an angel. Can't quite believe that they tried to involve you in the debate about fox hunting. Well deflected Yusuf!! Shame on you BBC. Concert on Tuesday has made my Christmas very ,very special. Still haven't come down. YUSUF.....................you rock!!!

Yusuf, thank you for a beautifull concert in RAH... it was my second opportunity to watch you playing live, first one was 1976. in Zagreb, Croatia and so i travelled from Croatia to watch you again... and it was marvelous night! And tnx for signing me a programm... "To Barni, peace... Yusuf" was a something which I never expected to get, and now I am so happy because I was there, with all nice friends from Majicat messageboard... and even you sang "Fill My Eyes", one of my top favourites, I forgot to ask you (I was so confused standing in front you) if you would be so kind to include in your future concerts "Into White", one of your top best songs (and I know that you love you a lot, too... heard that on BBC session)... 12. I have seen the show on the BBC tonight and I'm sorry to say this has just shown to me the ignorance of the BBC. I was hoping there was going to be a better interview than this - I've been to the concert at the Royal Albert Hall and this is always going to be a highlight of my life. A musician, a poet and a truly peace-loving person like you - and they treat it like just another celebrity sitting on the sofa talking to you about trivia. Sorry, but just had to voice this. I'm not from the generation that has seen you before you stopped singing - for me it was magical to be able to see you see again. Surely, the BBC could have done better than that.

13. I was in Birmingham - the best show ever -and reading these comments makes me wish I had gone to RAH too. Just watched the One Show, it fills me with peace and love everytime I hear Yusuf sing!

14. From STL, Mo - USA - followed the whole "tour" and heard RAH was simply wonderful. I am happy for all that went. I attended the Dublin - show - and it only got better. Thank you Yusuf for coming back to us and sharing your gift. You have made a lot of people - very very happy. Hopefully - you may do a few more of these - here and there - we have missed you and have loved your and your music for many years. Best wishes of good health and happiness to you and your family. 15. Just wanted to add my thanks & praise to all the rest! Saw you in Birmingham and at RAH - by far the best concert; the audience's love just filled the air. Brought my mum who saw you with me back in '72; the fog-filled night. We were both very emotional as it brought back such memories and also gave us a new one to cherish. 16. It was the best concert I have ever been in my entire life. I am from Colombia and I was brought up listening to Cat Stevens songs, my parents loved him. He was my inspiration to learn English and understand his lyirics. I could not believe that I had the opportunity to see him live in the Royal Albert Hall. I cried, laughed, sang and danced. Thank you Yusuf for coming back and giving us such a great pleasure and thanks to my husband who rushed and bought the best tickets available :).

17. Yusuf. Thank you again for your wonderful concerts. The year of the fog in London was 1976 not 1972 I remember very well as I could not make it to the concert. Even though I did not live far. I stupidly tore up my tickets as I was very upset. Then you did an extra date for those people who could not make it. The fog in London was so bad, we could not see more than a couple of feet away. 19. My brother gave me a ticket for the RAH concert last night, I didn't make the concert 37 years ago due to the fog so have waited all this time to see Yusef, and it was well worth the wait. A fan since the age of 10. What an amazing night, exceeded all expectations.What a lovely man. I came out on a high and haven't stopped singing since. Please do more and can't wait for the musical! 20. I was at RAH, and as yet haven't described it to anyone as the usual words don't really convey the excellence of the music and the charisma of Yusuf. I have never 'felt the love' before, I guess you just had to be there. I can't get enough of listening and watching any Yusuf material. See you tomorrow on The One Show .....

21. My 83 year old mum brought my ticket for the RAH last night as my Christmans present...It was the besy present EVER!! I came out feeling fantastic ...the show was a trip back to my teenage years when I saved my pocket money to buy Cat Stevens singles!! I now own all the albums on CD!! But the spiritual gift of the man and the music together was beyond words...Such a feel good concert which will live with me for many days to come. Thank you Yusuf. I hope to bring my mum to Moonshadow next year. Love Maryxxx

23. Got back to Bournemouth @2.30am after the incredible night at RAH--Yusef/Cat is truly back!!! Went to Liverpool as well--- added bonus that we literally bumped into the man himself, his beautiful wife and youngest daughter outside the Cavern Club!!!----spent a few precious moments and even got a pic with him---so very special to a fan whose 1st single bought was "moonshadow", 1st album Teaser and first concert CB@4 tour B`ham Hippodrome`72 which he recalled when we briefly spoke. Saw the islamic night in 03, peace one day in 07, shepherd`s bush `09 and now this tour!!i am truly blessed and so joyous to see the gradual progression in those gigs to the full-on concert experience of Guess Tour!! Please now Yusef do a "Bob Dylan" and launch the "Never Ending Tour" -- your fans deserve it and they will always be there for you!

24. We came to see you at the R.A.H. last night and dare I say you are even better because you seem at peace with yourself.......the music was outstanding and I'm looking forward to Moonshadow! I was 15 when I first heard you sing ' I love my dog ' and I knew you were special then and you still are! just a lovely man with a voice and you use it to help others less fortunate. God Bless. 27. Last night at RAH was just magical - not least because I was at the concert 37 years ago to the week (Alun and Yusuf remembered the fog that night!) at the age of just 15 & lucky enough to meet Yusuf backstage then. His music & lyrics have been a solace & inspiration - helping me through times of loss. "Morning has Broken" was sung at my wedding & my husband's funeral 21 years later. Wonderful also to hear the emotional "Miles from Nowhere" last night. Yusuf's kindness shines through - thank you for showing the value of carrying on the journey full circle.
