1. Your words reflect the thoughts that come to a person when he is finally alone and searching. You are truly a traveller who has (as we Americans say) been there and done that. For most, I think that distractions are welcome and a way of not having to think about our personal contributions to the important things in life such as harmony, responsibility and freedom. Distractions are the simplest means by which to ignore our conscience when it is telling us that self gratification really isnâ€™t that satisfying and there should be more to life than personal gains.
  
  To get to the point of my post, I always enjoy your thoughts, whether in song or spoken or written and I hope that the media will pick up on more than just the return of the commercially successful Cat Stevens. I have achieved financial success in life so far and as I approach the midpoint of my 30's, I cannot help but hope to have your kind of success when I am your age and reflecting on my journey. I have great respect for your decision to pursue the important things in life even at the cost of a lot of lost earnings, fame and glory. Even though I am a Christian and you are a Muslim, you have inspired me.
