4. Yusuf as a seasoned fan of live music I knew when I heard you were going to treat Dublin to a show that I would have to go along . My mother introduced me to CAT Stevens in 1974 the year I was born. The hair on the back of my neck stood up when you played SITTING my favourite CAT Stevens song, even better than the origional recording. Your voice is still as powerfull and mesmorising as it always was, the lyrics a window into the imagination that is nothing short of genius. Please never stop writing and contributing to the music world, yusuf thank you so much and we hope you will come back to Dublin soon.

6. I've just come to download your latest contribution and am very much enjoying Roadsinger. Like many I grew up with you (just five years apart) and while saddened initially about your leaving I understood it as well. This old world needs you back to share your message of peace and understanding. And even thou the will US keep its no fly round for a while Canada will welcome you with open arms. Meantime I am traveling to the UK in the spring and am keeping my fingers crossed we can find you onstage. Kudos on All Kinds of Roses - beautiful!

7. Dear Yusuf, We loved your show in Dublin on Nov. 15th and only hope you could feel all the love and support coming your way too! I think people were just so excited by the fact that you are performing again, they did not really take in that you planned to give us a taste of your new musical Moonshadow. I would venture to guess that it is neigh impossible to appease a pop/rock audience and a Westend musical audience at the same time. I did not expect the Cat Stevens of old and particularly enjoyed the new songs - your voice is as dear as ever. I hope you will return to Dublin one day soon; it's so good to have you back. 9. I am fairly certain that Yusuf does not read these emails, but I am hoping that someone will. I once heard a story that the most beautiful word in the universe is "yes". I also realize that without my making this request, I cannot receive a yes answer....so here it is: I am traveling from the United States to London to hear Yusuf perform on December 8th. The last time I had an opportunity to hear him perform was when he toured through at Madison Square Garden in New York. Unfortunately, I was too young to acquire a ticket on my own and my parents were not wanting to participate in me going to a concert. I missed the performance. The night he played (as Cat Stevens), I sat in my bedroom listening to his albums weeping. Now, at 50 and a recent breast cancer survivor, I say, if not now, when? So, I am flying to the UK to finally witness the amazing music of this incredible man. My request? a hand shake, a 30 second face-to-face meeting, a cup of tea......any opportunity to simply smile directly and say thank you for a lifetime of life changing music. Please let me hear the most beautiful word in the universe. I understand that Yusuf has an incredible fan base

10. Greetings Yusuf. I enjoyed listening to you on the Nikki Bedi Show today. Thank you for your thoughts and feelings about your music and recent events, but more importantly thank you for continuing to express some of your insights regarding religion and spirituality. What I would give to spend some time to converse with you on matters of spirituality which are at the core of your being! You have this incredible ability so see that commonality that is found in all religions and to truly understand the inner meanings and messages that are present. May the peace of God be with you.

11. Yusuf, it is very gratifying to read the messages to you from my fellow Irishmen and women. I still find it difficult to believe the ignorance and the discourteous behaviour I witnessed at the o2 concert in my home town, Dublin. I really felt shame for the way the cast members of Monshadow were treated. At the end of the first part of the concert you announced that there was a special surprise for us in the second half and you said it with true pride. You were correct, it was a brilliant segment of your new stage musical and the vast majority of us enjoyed it. Unfortunately their exists in this city a certain mob who travel, drunkenly, to concerts just to leap around waving their arms, shouting and being generally obnoxious. These people have no appreciation of music and I was very happy to see them troop out of the venue. Maybe some day they will 'see the light'. Please consider returning to Dublin, sooner rather than later, to once again delight your true fans. Salaam. Ray.

12. I just saw an interview you gave w/ Chris Isaak on tv and was so pleased to see you.. hear you sing...... I was 15 when I heard you left us and I still remember how hard it was to accept it. 14. Hello again Yusuf; I was in the O2 in Dublin on Sunday night - tears in my eyes when you came on stage.... a long-held dream realised...to see you perform. We went with open minds, knowing how your life had changed, and possibly the path of your creativity. We did not expect Cat Stevens, unlike some of the more uninformed members of the audience! What we got was a journey through time and music to today; a gentle and understanding Yusuf who took the awful abuse in his stride; and a magical, unforgettable evening. We apologise for the boorish behaviour of our compatriots. To paraphrase our great playwright, Sean O'Casey- "ye have disgraced yourselves again!" Thank you so very much for a very special night. We will treasure it.

15. Hi Yusuf, I live in the States, S.C. I'm sorry that I'll probably never get to see you perform. I grew up listening to your music and am so glad you're on tour. As you know, you have fans from all over the world--quite a lot in the South! I'll keep checking your blog to see how things are going. I almost forgot. I saw you in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, a few mo. ago. Could you have someone get in touch with Brian Williams of NBC? Was priveliged to be present at your wonderful show in Dublin on Sunday,as a huge fan for nearly 40 years it was a dream come true,keep up your marvelous work,i hope you can forgive a very rude and nasty minority at Sundays Concert and consider playing Ireland again some time in the future,God bless and good health. P.S. I have been a Carpenter for 33 years ,if i had not changed my methods and style many times throughout these years i would not have survived, while old ways ( songs or whatever )will never be equaled we must all change.

18. Yusuf....I thank you sooooooo very much for gracing us with your presence on the 15th of November 2009 at the O2 in Dublin. I firstly must say that I was appalled by some of the audiences reaction to your show...I was very saddened by them....and I do hope that it does not keep you away from Ireland in the future!??? I have been a fan of your music,your lyrics and your LIFE ever since I was 11/12 years old. When I was young..you opened my eyes and made me feel unafraid of my beliefs, your path make me question my path in life...and I am eternally grateful to you for that. I searched beyond the confines of the catholic teachings and found my SELF. I thank you for that...you saved my life...Praise be to Allah for sending you into the world.I admire all that you do, all that you have done..and all that you have left behind { FAME??? }...it takes a TRUE seeker to do what you have done. I hope that you and your beloved family and crew can recover from the ignorance of others during your/and their wonderful performance on the 15th of Nov. 19. Blessed be the Day to you Yusuf, Im so excited to hear and see you LIVE , at Royal Albert Hall on the 8th of December. I know that I will enjoy every minute of it! I've been longing to catch a rehearsal or a preview of the Musical and Hope to give a honest review of it If you'd like-I've been on Broadway n many National Tours and Im just waiting in Joy for 8th of December. I know the Meaning of Life is different for everyone ..for this is Earth.. and we get glimpses of Paradise and Hope to create them for others once we realize the Purpose For Life. I dont actually know what happened in Dublin other than people exuding unruly behavior which to me was not THEIR highest possibility!Some just dont get IT. 20. Just want to thank you Yusuf for such an amazing show in Dublin. My husband and I were so horrified and disgusted at how some of the audience behaved, im from Ireland and was so ashamed to be irish that night. It was really rude and disrespectful to you, the cast members, etc. We would love to see you in concert again, and would love to see the full version of the muscial, it was an added bonus as part of your concert that night, Thank you so much for sharing, it was a real pleasure. Hope to see you again some day, keep the music coming!!! by the way Im 34, and have been a huge fan of your music since I first heard it, Love it!!! XX

21. Yusuf, my fiance and I were at your show in Dublin this Saturday. We wanted to say thank you for a wonderful first half, to apologise for some audience members who were just so rude, and to congratulate you on managing to finish out a great set after getting that kind of response. I have honestly never felt more upset at a concert than I did Saturday night, even when I've been playing on stage and talked over and booed myself. I thought it was incredibly harsh of the people who were yelling at the musical chorus; it wasn't their fault, it was bad production and planning really. Can I suggest you maybe put on Moonshadow as the "warm up act" instead of interrupting your flow. I'm afraid I didn't like the musical, the orchestration was great, but the choreography was very pantomime like (in the worst sense of the word) and the fantasy/allegorical world of the musical, I think, was too difficult for most in the audience to grasp. Garry, my fiance, introduced me to your songs, he admires you and your lyrics so much. He thought the first half of your show was the best concert we've been to all year - and we've been to Clapton, Elton, Duke Special, Dr. Hook.... it's been a go
