  Yusuf Wins Damages from World Entertainment News Network

  Yusuf has today received an apology and substantial, undisclosed damages from World Entertainment News Network, following their distribution of a fabricated story that the singer does not speak with unveiled women.

  The rumour was first printed by German newspaper BZ after Yusuf’s trip to Germany in March 2007 to collect the prestigious ECHO award for lifetime achievement “as a musician and ambassador between cultures.”

  All damages will be donated by Yusuf to Small Kindness, the UN affiliated NGO of which he is Chairman.
