Yusuf performs an a capella rendition of Peace Train for the Concert for New York City in memory of the devastating September 11 terrorist attacks.The same month sees the release of one of the music industry’s most anticipated box sets. Yusuf’s In Search of the Centre of the Universe deluxe four disc set encompasses many of his hits and key tracks, as well as an abundance of rarities and a 96-page booklet with photo collages and lyrics as well as a song-by-song commentary.
Yusuf donates half the box set royalties to the September 11 Fund and the rest to his charity, Small Kindness.
