  1. That album made me become a Cat Stevens fan 37 years ago. I heard Oh very young on the radio and fell in love. Two years later I've seen im live on stage at Cologne (Majikat-Tour 1976). And in 102 days I'll be watching Yusuf live on stage for the 4th time in Hamburg and later a 5th time in Mannheim. Isn't it great?

  5. Wow!! This album is one of the best in the past century. I prefer to listen to "Music" in the car, it really rocks. The message of "Oh Very Young" never could be sent in a song other than what yusuf made, indeed this is one of my favorites. "C79" sounds a little bit private song reflecting special experience, but with guitar leading the music, It kind of shift you back to Teaser. I love it very much. "Ghost Town" is also pretty good. The song "Jesus", I believe no matter what some would say, still a song of every time and for every one whatever you believe in! It's about how to understand others right. "Ready" deserves to be one of the singles, although I preferred "King of Trees" to accompany Oh Very Young as a single, or maybe on side B. "A Bad Penny" remind us indeed of Lady D'arbanville but and I love the Tokyo live version of it. "Home In the Sky" is just the perfect closure of a perfect album. Love you for ever Yusuf!! Peace.

  6. Remember this album, actually I don't. My sister was listening to it on 8track and i was about 4 and she was 5 years older than I was. Being 4 and wanting to play with my Dad's stereo, Which back then had an 8-Track, Turntable, Receiver, Reel To Reel and about 200 square feet of album space. I used to switch the tracks while my sister was trying to learn the songs. She grabbed me one time and swung me around until my head hit that bohemouth monster entertainment center. First time I became a fan, and the last time I fought with my sister.
