  1. "Father And Son" ... I lost my father in 1978 when I was 9 years old ... This song made me feel much closer to him, wherever he is ... I love my father and I love your songs, my good friend Yusuf ... God bless you and your family. Evandro DeSouza - from Brazil

  3. Growing up is harder than I ever thougt. In lonely moments when I`m thinking about the way I still have to go and the steps I made till now I always think about my wonderfull parents, my great brother and especially about my father. It`s so good to know that you are not alone on your way and your family stands behind you. "Father and Son" is one of the most wonderful songs that I`ve ever heard. It`s like my father is talking to me, giving me a helping hand and wispering in my ear: "Don`t worry son, I know what It means to find your own way, to grow up and get older... I trust in you, you can manage all difficulties of life.... I will always be at your side." Thank you Yusuf Islam for this unbelievable song. "Father and Son" will go along with me for the rest of my life. If music is magic this song will be the one of greatest pieces of legedermain.

  5. Sad Lisa and How Can I Tell You, played an important role in my young teen years. I was 16 when I heard both songs and connection was immediate. It was as though you knew me. That is when I became drawn to your music and your search for enlightenment. Thanks to the spiritual being for providing you with such a gift! Lisa

  8. Your music always remains me of my home. My mother loves your music and so I was kinda forced to listen to it since I was born. We listen to it actually always when we are at home and have time to do so. Even if I didn't understand the meaning of the songs as I was little I kinda could sing along with them, because I listened to them a lot of times. After I had English lessons at school and I finally understood what it was about I loved it even more (if that was possible). It's just such a wonderful way to tell stories and to make people thoughtful. Thanks for sharing it with me and the rest of the world! I can't say how much it means to me. It feels like this music was always a part of my life-and it will be one forever I guess. -believe!

  11. I am 31 years old, and it's an honor for me to listen this beautifull music, "a hard headed woman" was singed with the deep power of your heart, I know that it's a sin to love something like that but I love your music and this song since I was a child.

  15. What can I say? Cat Stevens best album and one of the best albums of all time, considered by many the most important record of its decade. From track one to eleven every song is a hymn to those who are on the road to find out. Beautiful music with deep, instrospective, meaningful lyrics.
